Historical Preservation
Originally built as a school funded by the Julius Freyhan family, the building reflects a rare and significant chapter in the region’s history. Today, now fully restored, the Center stands as a tribute to generations of leaders and learners, with plans to include a dedicated museum space. This space will feature artifacts, stories, and exhibits that honor the legacy of Mr. Freyhan, the contributions of the Jewish community to West Feliciana, and the history of education in this parish.

With meeting rooms, breakout spaces, exhibit areas, and a 150-seat performance theater, the Center also offers rental opportunities for private and corporate gatherings in a truly one-of-a-kind venue.
