Visionary Transformation

Freyhan Center Current School Building and Future Projects

With the successful completion of Phase 1, significant structural and foundational restoration has ensured that the historic Julius Freyhan School is preserved for generations to come. The next phases of development will focus on transforming the building into a fully functional cultural, educational, and community hub.
Plans include flexible arts and performance spaces, educational classrooms, and museum exhibits highlighting both the history of education in West Feliciana Parish and the rich heritage and influence of the early Jewish community. Each stage of progress brings us closer to opening the doors of a dynamic center where history, learning, creativity, and community life come together.
